$500 for Equipment

$ 500.00

Having the right tools is life-saving.  We want to have access to equipment that will save patients and reduce costs of veterinary care.  We plan to invest in some basic lab equipment to conduct fecal exams - saving us time and money and allowing us to diagnose certain problems immediately, in-house.

When Anna arrived with breathing trouble, we immediately purchased an oxygen generator, and have already used it several times since.  This can make the difference between life and death (and physical comfort) for birds in respiratory distress.  While it was an expensive purchase, it is vital to have for immediate on-site use in an emergency - and it has already saved money in the long-term by avoiding ICU expenses.
