Emu portrait painting.  This prehistoric-looking ratite bird is flightless but fast.  This emu gazes at the viewer with a mischievous orange eye.  Detailed feathers are carefully rendered in neutrals and undertones of turquoise and cornflower blues that incorporate the ombre background.
