Our Lady in Pink

A graceful white dove leans down to look at her chick in this Theotokos-inspired image of mother and child.  She perches gracefully on a golden straw nest with one baby and an egg about to hatch.  Delicate blossoms entwine the scene, complementing the bright pink fading background.  The doves each feature a gold leaf halo.  Set in a vintage wood oval frame with gold filigree embellishments on the corners.  The model for this piece is the beautiful dove Sunshine - special thanks to her person for allowing me to be inspired by her photo.
