$100 for Vet Care

Veterinary care is a necessity.  When birds are ill or injured, or new emergency cases arrive, we must act immediately.  Donations toward veterinary expenses help us stay prepared for these costs.

Special cases like Fenimore can cost well over $1000 - even with generous donations of time and testing from veterinarians.  Our vet team was able to diagnose Fenimore as the first pigeon in the scientific literature (and only the second bird ever) to present with primary hypothyroidism.  She's on daily meds now and has an otherwise healthy and normal life.
