Barred Owl

Original painting on circular panel.  This Spotted Owl seems to be caught by surprise.  The owl's feathers are hand painted in detail with painterly brushstrokes and layers of rich neutral colors - warm grays, creamy whites, sepia browns and ochre.  Set in a round wood frame with carved geometric designs.
